The Dodd-Frank Act is a federal law passed after the 2008 financial crisis intended to strengthen consumer protections and regulation of financial markets.

In this project, the goal is to generate a report from multiple sources and send it to a third party in a specific format. The main role is to mediate between business and technology to obtain the desired product.

My role and responsibilities in this project was to:

  • Identify trust sources where the data can be sourced.

  • Mitigate the relationship between multiple technology teams and the respective requests for the data.

  • Analyzing the business the different data sets and mapping correctly to what the Dodd-Frank 1071 requirements are

  • Cross-collaboration between different business and technology teams impacted by the Dodd-Frank 1071

  • Oversight of the ingestion work between the different sources.

  • Resolve any roadblock and develop multiple solutions to obtain a better result.

  • Identify sensitive data and ensure the data is masked or encrypted.

  • Oversight testing, ensuring all parties are involved in testing, creating a solid test script, and documenting the results.
