What Team Members say about me

  • Diversity Team Lead

Andrea has been highly engaged with the Citi Pride Network and has been collaborating to bring more inclusion and opportunities to LGBTQ+ families and the transgender community.

She leverages her expertise in data analysis to do research and provide useful information when brining suggestions and it has been valuable to have her contribution to our overall goals.

She inspired the idea of the LGBTQ+ families panel we hosted in April during the Allyship Month, and also has been working with her business to sponsor Gender Cool, which will add educational value and mentoring opportunities to the transgender community at Citi.

  • Tech Team

You have good analytical skills. As part of data governance, we have to work with different types and categories of data. Andrea adapts and understands the data very well and can foresee the challenges that might be present in the data.

You are a very humble person. She is empathetic, understands the technical team's challenges, and always helps the team in any way she can to overcome the challenges.

You are very organized with your work. Working on so many items in parallel, you can prioritize and manage all the items well.

  • Team Member

Andrea has been an intricate part of the VOE team not only via volunteering to Lead the Culture workstream, but she has also taken a leadership role in the infrastructure team and took upon herself to build a VOE SharePoint site and translate all the needs and wants from the group into a fantastic place that all can now use and follow. Her dedication and attention to detail are second to none. In addition to that, Andrea has been helping me with the implementation of the Change Governance process tool; through out the process, she took the time to work with me and IT to identify the pros and cons of the implementation as well as working with IT to define the feasibility of this implementation. Thanks to her assistance, we determined that a manual solution would be best if we test the process, but she is helping us now create a log in Teams that we can utilize for tracking purposes. Andrea is a fantastic part of the organization, and I am incredibly thankful for her contributions.

  • Business Partner

Andrea is nailing it!! From her partnership in both work directly impacting diversity & CCB.

Diversity: Andrea completed the assessment of NAM CCB Clients and mapped to their HRC scores to initiate a dialogue on how to better engage them in conversation, which matches the values of Citi and how to amplify clients. She spreads this analysis across multiple diversity networks to create visibility. Ultimately- she used her skill sets, knowledge of systems with this information, and data systems to collate. She is expanding

her network with this data. I look forward to seeing how she continues this dialogue in 2H’23 while ensuring CCB maintains being engaged to help amplify our visibility within the bank.

Andrea also pulled together a recommendation to onboard GenderCool to Citi. I am considering the goals and objectives of the organization, with the recent announcement of the 3.5% LGBQTIA+ analysts, and weaving in how this organization’s mission can support Citi in achieving this by creating awareness of the next generations of more fluid gender diversity. Starting the socialization process to obtain funding, working with all the respective stakeholders from Citi GDTM, ICG DEI, & CCB HR to help get buy-in. It is not an easy feat, and I can share the importance. Similar to HRC, knowing that this is not the #1 priority, I am confident she’ll obtain buy-in for funding and will require oversight.

Two other diversity initiatives: Andrea shares open CCB roles through NYC Diversity networks to help create visibility of available positions. In June, she’ll participate in a Global Pride Event with three other out leaders in Citi.

To support the objective of NAM CCB to increase headcount by 103 and more visibility to reporting, Andrea has engaged various parties to help reduce the manual headcount reporting and find a data visualization tool, like Tableau. She uses her knowledge to connect and navigate the discussions with Tech Teams and Data Owners. If able to achieve this, it will reduce ~20 hours of manual work each month.

It has been a pleasure to work alongside Andrea in CCB, using her skill sets to help further objectives and truly owning Citi’s leadership values while appropriately challenging views to make progress for those who need a platform—operating at a more senior level.
